Privacy Policy
This document, referred to as the "Privacy Policy" (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy"), outlines the terms governing the collection and utilization of Personal Information from Users (referred to as "You") by Abouchfa (referred to as "Abouchfa") during the download, installation, and use of the mobile applications developed by Abouchfa (each hereinafter referred to as the "Mobile application").
Consent of the User
By downloading, installing, and using the Mobile application, you (also referred to as the "User") voluntarily provide written consent for the processing of your Personal Information as specified in this Policy.
General Terms
1.1. This Policy constitutes an integral part of the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Mobile application. By downloading and utilizing the Mobile application, you fully accept the terms outlined in this Policy.
1.2. The methods for processing Personal Information include actions such as collection, recording, systematization, storage, updating, extraction, use, transfer, depersonalization, blocking, deletion, and destruction, with or without automated facilities.
1.3. Terms from the EULA and other agreements with the User are applicable unless explicitly stated otherwise in this Policy.
Personal Information
2.1. When using the Mobile application, the User does not actively provide personal information. Abouchfa does not collect and store data that enables User identification.
2.2. Personal Information, as defined in this Policy, includes the User's email or account information provided during product surveys for users who made purchases in the Mobile application.
2.3. The User acknowledges the use of third-party software in the Mobile application, which may collect and transmit depersonalized data.
Third-Party Software
Third-party software used by the Mobile applications is limited to "RevenueCat" (in-app purchase and subscription management), Google "Firebase" (anonymous usage analytics), and, in applications with AI-powered features, "OpenRouter" (AI processing of content you submit to those features). Analytics data may include device information and depersonalized details of user activity (such as screens viewed and features used), and never includes the content you type or say. The collection and use of this data are subject to the respective third-party privacy policies.
Where a Mobile application accepts free text or voice input, the text itself is never sent to analytics. Only values derived from it leave your device, such as which category the input was matched to, whether a match was found, whether the input came from typing or speech, the number of characters, and the application language. This is a deliberate limit, not an incidental one.
Some Mobile applications include features that process content you actively submit, such as a photo to be identified (processed via OpenRouter) or voice input transcribed by the device's built-in speech recognition. This content is used only to deliver the feature, is not used to identify you, and is not stored by Abouchfa. Speech recognition is performed by the operating system, not by Abouchfa; depending on your device and settings, the platform vendor may process the audio on its own servers under its own privacy policy.
On-Device Data
Some Mobile applications ask for information used to personalize their features (for example wellness preferences or safety-related answers). Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the application, this information is stored only on your device, is never transmitted to Abouchfa or to third parties, and can be deleted inside the application or by uninstalling it.
Some of that information may be health-adjacent, such as how you say you are feeling, or answers about medication and pregnancy given so an application can decide which cautions to show you. Abouchfa treats it as the most sensitive category handled by any of the Mobile applications: it never leaves your device, is never sent to analytics or to any third party, is never used for advertising or profiling, and is deleted the moment you clear it in the application or uninstall. No account exists to attach it to. Abouchfa is not a healthcare provider, and this information is not a medical record.
Children's Privacy
Abouchfa does not intentionally collect personal data from children under 16. If such information is inadvertently obtained, it will be promptly deleted upon discovery.
Purposes of Personal Information Processing
Abouchfa may use Personal Information for communication, statistical research, and improving the Mobile applications. The Mobile applications do not display advertising, and Personal Information is not used for advertising purposes.
User's Rights
The User has rights to be informed, access, correct, restrict, object, withdraw consent, delete personal data, and receive data for portability. These rights can be exercised by contacting Abouchfa.
Data Retention
Personal Information will be stored for as long as necessary or permitted by law. Abouchfa periodically reviews data processing systems for relevance.
Data Protection
Abouchfa stores and protects Personal Information against unauthorized access according to internal terms and regulations.
Transfer of Personal Information
Abouchfa may transfer Personal Information to third parties with User consent, for Mobile application functionality, third-party service providers, or asset transfers.
Amendments and Deletion
For questions, amendments, or deletion requests regarding Personal Information, users can contact Abouchfa at [email protected].
Amendments to Privacy Policy
Abouchfa may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, together with its date, is always available on this page, and material changes are reflected by updating the version date. Users are advised to regularly check the current version.
